As one of Indonesia’s leading universities, Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad) remains committed to providing an excellent, inclusive, and adaptive learning environment that meets the challenges of the times. The increasing number of students, demands for quality education, and the need for adequate classroom facilities have driven the necessity to build a Joint Classroom Building capable of accommodating large-scale academic activities. This Joint Classroom Building will consist of a lecture hall with a capacity of 1000 people, two classrooms each accommodating 600 people, four classrooms with a capacity of 100 people each, ten classrooms designed for 40 people each, thirty tutorial rooms that can hold 15 people each, as well as supporting facilities such as a lobby area, restrooms, prayer rooms, faculty offices, storage rooms, and vertical circulation spaces.

The building is designed to support collaborative learning, cross-study program lectures, and various other educational activities. It also represents a tangible manifestation of the community’s contribution through waqf, creating a lasting impact for future generations.

The Unpad Waqf Institution has launched the Unpad Dome Waqf program, a collective goodwill initiative inviting the academic community, alumni, the general public, and strategic partners to contribute through waqf toward the construction of the Unpad Dome. The funds collected will be used to realize an inclusive, comfortable, and modern Dome building that will serve as a center of civilization on campus.
